The Job Effect!!!

I have created this blog account days back, but never felt like posting anyhting. Last month of my life will be marked as one of the most beatiful periods for me. This will carry an embossing effect on my whole life. This is what made me write this Blog.

The cause for this effect on me is man whom i will revere forever. Steve Jobs......

It has been few years now since i first heard of Steve Jobs. But never took pains to learn more.

One afternoon about 25 days back, i was purging my mailbox off the mails which were of no use to me anymore. There i came across the mail titled "Steve Jobs' Speech at Stanford University". I had read that mail previously, but just like any other. This time i read it a bit thoroughly, i just felt like reading it once again. The speech simply is overwhelming. Some speeches are Sentimental, some are Patriotic. When i thought that what wou
ld be the best word for Jobs speech, i came up with the word Powerful. The speech is simply and truely powerful. It will simply uproot you. Words are mighty was only a philosophical term for me. Not any more!!!!!

Further, just like any other inquisitive human, i read about Steve Jobs and Apple Computers and PIXAR and neXT; voraciously. My school's group provides me a very wonderful environment to express my opinions. After all we all were toge
ther for six long years. The period when i spent more time in school than my home. So, i dropped in a mail saying that i want to give a presentation on Steve Jobs' Life. The response was as expected, almost everyone was ready to join for the presentation.

So, there i was on 18th of December, 830 pm, giving a presentation on Steve Jobs. It was wonderful, positive, cerebral and i felt very satisfied about it. Everyone liked it. Then we discussed about Alvin Toffler and his book " The Third Wave" The presentation was Audio-Visual and we were rivetted by the ""THINK DIFFERENT"" advertisement of Apple Computers.

Then on next Saturday, i presented this topic at "Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital". The audiance was management people of Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital and some seniors of my school. It is wonderful experience and everyone who saw the presentation was captivated by it. Its not the case that i made the presentation particularly fascinating. But, the acvievements of Steve Jobs capture everyone's hearts. I have reached to a conclusion that everyone should read about Steve Jobs as early as possible in their lives.

I myself downloaded some 50 odd Videos related to Apple Computers, Steve jobs and a BBC Documentary-"World's Greatest, Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs". Also listened to Steve Wozniak's interview who is the co-founder of Apple Computers.

Now, after this month, when i look back, i thank myself for thinking of purging my mailbox. Because this is where it all started.

Now as I sign off, i would like to say that "Some dreams first appear to be impossible then they become improbabale but when you summon you will, they become inevitable" And this is what i am going to try in my life ahead.

Stumbled acoss your blog in the course of some aimless blog-surfing...
I had read some about Steve Jobs too and he is truly an inspiring personality. Just one thing I found missing in your blog - Steve Jobs is (in)famous for his aggressive and demanding personality too :)

Perhaps what is the true measure of a personality is not its product but the personality itself.

Dont say to yourself that ofcourse the produce of a person must be an adequate metric to measure it - that is a psychological compulsion.

The beggar at your door can very well be the greatest person alive - my point is precisely this a person is nothing - if you see a person as a production machine you are nothing but a worshipper.
